“Pattern does not have to mean loud. It means considered. The difference is knowing which wall to put it on and which ones to leave alone.”
What I Cover
I cover bold, eclectic, and pattern-forward interiors. My content is for readers who want a room that has a genuine point of view, not just a backdrop for furniture. I write Think Noir's inspiration roundups and trend-led content.
I focus on feature wall placement, pattern mixing, and the design calls most people talk themselves out of. If a wallpaper is going to make a statement, I want to make sure it is saying the right thing in the right room. Most feature walls end up on the wrong wall. I cover why, and what to do instead.
Interests & Focus Areas
- Bold, pattern-forward interiors with a point of view
- Feature wall placement — and why most end up on the wrong wall
- Pattern mixing that reads as considered, not chaotic
- Eclectic styling for real rooms, not just mood boards
- Interior trends and inspiration roundups
Background
I am a self-taught interior enthusiast who spent three years styling rental apartments for short-term lets before moving into design content full time. That work gave me a sharp sense of what reads well in a real room versus what only works in a mood board. I bring the same instinct to my writing at Think Noir: less theory, more decisions.
